St. Demetrios Greek Dance
Welcome to the St. Demetrios Dance & Choral Ministry. Our program is guided by our shared Orthodox Christian values and uses dance and music education, and fellowship, to create, enrich, and pass on an appreciation for our Hellenic heritage in our members, church, and community.
Our award-winning program offers dance and choral classes for participants aged four-years-old (pre-K) to young adults with an optional opportunity to participate in the annual Faith Dance Fellowship (FDF) competition. More info can be found at www.yourfdf.org.
We also have an educational program for adults who wish to learn Greek dances from all over Greece in a fun and welcoming environment. This program is open to beginners and does not participate in dance competitions or festival performances.
Classes for choral participants and dancers aged Pre-K to 4th grade practice on Sunday afternoons while all other dancers practice Monday evenings.
